Article Date - 12/04/2023Telling people to stop sinning and Christ is the only way would be considered offensive. All of Proverbs would have to be removed because fools would be offended throughout. Basically, only the words forgiveness and promise of eternal life, all summarized in a handful of pages, would be permitted. The offensive parts is what we are to stop doing if we want eternal life. God is telling us that "the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God" (Galatians 5:19-21). So, removing such verses does not change anything. It just keeps people in the dark.

This also neglects to address the number of public school abuses that take place more often than compared to homeschool environments. These cases are used often to strip parents of their God given rights to be the responsible influencer upon their children: "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). That is understood as direction to a godly set of parents and not to the government, especially since the government does not teach the proper way, which is a godly way.

Parents are responsible in every other aspects, who gives the exception in such a life altering decision? And the media does not report the number of students, now becoming adults, that regret the decisions made much earlier in life when they were not completely informed of all the ramifications. The title of the story is just the lead into bigger issues, not only at the FDIC, but in many business environments. For the senior people to act this way and are "still employed" is unbelievable. Further, the article stated, "Two supervisors told the Journal they'd either visited strips clubs with their colleagues after work or invited staff to a strip club. One supervisor, Trevor McIntosh, said the organization had not told him that visiting the strip clubs was a problem and 'he didn't know why it would have been,' the Journal reported." It is immoral!!! But, when the Bible is no longer considered the moral standard in society, "Because [there is] no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood" (Hosea 4:1-2). It was innocent to attend company picnics, then sporting events, then happy hour where many a personnel have had loose lips under the influence of drinks, and now strip clubs, a form of adultery, is accepted as proper business behavior. Basically, the article depicts where Jesus is inserted into social issues, and then many assumptions are made. The focus was the union strike. They concluded that Jesus would be for the workers, and He would join the picket line. So, if the owners were operating properly, not greedy, but their was a strike, Jesus would be against the owners? That is an assumption. The reality of things are that Jesus would stay out of social issues. In one social situation, Jesus stayed out of it by stating, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's" (Mark 12:17). In another social situation, Jesus responded with, "Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?" (Luke 12:14). And our creed is the Bible, as in, "good deeds" are not the same as "obedience". And Jesus says, "If ye love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15) among other things. "Good deeds" are in the eyes of the beholder. "Good deeds" are confused with kindness. It is a kind act to allow marriages outside of man and woman, but that is an abomination to God. The social gospel is sold in such a way that it sounds what Jesus would be for but it is the most deceptive message from Satan that is sweeping away many in the church. It is not as simple as Sunday verses Sabbath, good versus evil, right versus wrong. Who in their right mind would be against "good deeds"? Well, unless a person realizes the agenda behind "good deeds", people are being easily deceived.
