His expression of peace through was, being so involved in the Middle East, setting himself up push the way for restoration of the temple in Jerusalem, trying to broker a peace agreement in the Middle East, etc. It is long been expected, according to futurists, that the president of the United States or the United Nations leader would be such an antichrist but showing himself as being Christ-like. How much more antichrist can one get than to picture himself as Jesus Christ in the flesh, even if it was just a jab at the papacy or other purpose, believing to be the modern day Cyrus, etc.?
