COMMENT: Well, science is a little closer but not much. Instead of a black hole, Genesis 1:2 says, "the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." So, darkness was involved but not how science describes. And then bang! "God said, Let there be light: and there was light" (Genesis 1:3).
